Club trips to Ilfracombe and Aber
This year we are hoping to run a trip to Ilfracombe, via the new ferry. Either ride to Ilfracombe stopping overnight at Weston then ferry back to Swansea. Or ferry over, then ride around Somerset and ferry back the next day. Aber will be in October as usual with some great autumn views from the top of Devils staircase. So let’s hope the weather is kind for a great trip.
Mountain Biking
Nice to see so many members taking an interest in the off road cycling. It’s an exhilarating sport, and it helps your bike handling skills. And whatever the weather MTB can be all year round, even when the road racing season has finished.
Annual Dinner and Awards Night
Thanks to everyone who turned out on Saturday January 31st at Morgans Hotel, Swansea (and to Jason for organising!). A good meal was enjoyed by all, and presentations were kept to the necessary length. Congratulations to all who picked up an award, and well done to all riders for making the year enjoyable.
