Social Events
Every year we try to arrange some social events for members be that regular events or something a little different.
Club Trips 2010/11
This page wont be updated on a regular basis, but if you are a club member, details of our trips will be made available via our circular emails.
Aberystwyth is a regular Autumn ride - out Saturday, a meal in the evening and back on Sunday. Circa 160 miles
of cycling in total, always fun, even in the ... ssshhhhhhh ... dont mention the weather.
This year we also hope to go to the Newport Velodrome at some point for a spot of track experience.
For Summer 2011 some of the boys are planning a week in France with Le Tour and if that is not exciting enough then
a bit less exotic but nevertheless across the water - we also hope to organise a weekend away during 2011 using the
Ilfracombe Ferry to assist with the return leg of the journey.
Mountain Biking
We seem to snaffle the odd member or two from the dark side and this year we are continuing our occasional MTB rides (probably monthly) which will be
led by one of our experienced MTB riders. Details available via email for members.
Even the hardened roadies amongst us will admit it is
an exhilarating sport, and it does help your bike handling skills - plus if you like the competition it can extend your season.
Annual Dinner and Awards Night
Usually held at a respectable venue (the Atrium at Morgans Hotel for the last few years) it gives us a chance to wear something which isnt lycra (usually) and get to socialise over a good meal and a tipple of your choice. Presentations are kept as short as necessary.

a different type of 'page' which will give us more functionality. Remember, we are always looking for new
